Summer Glau on Chuck is Dangerously Hot

I’m not the biggest “Chuck” fan out there, but I am a pretty big fan of Summer Glau. Some say, too big of a fan, but that’s between me and my psychiatrist. And law enforcement. Nonetheless, Summer Glau is doing a recurring spot on “Chuck” as a super secret (and sexy) CIA agent starting with the episode “Chuck Versus The Fear of Death”, where she’s gone undercover at that nerd store where they all work at. Apparently part of her cover involves teasing the boys with a Subway sandwich and knife.
V Season 2 Promo Poster
Here’s your first look at what is apparently the season 2 poster for ABC’s “V”. I said “supposedly” because it doesn’t really give you any glimpses of any of the new castmembers that have already been announced as joining the show, like Jane Badler as Anna’s mom, or any of those new resistance fighter characters that were supposd to really have an impact on the show. It’s just the same group of people from the first season, minus a couple.
Terra Nova Sneak Peek in May 2011 for Fall Premiere

As you may or may not have heard, but “Terra Nova” was recently all over the blogosphere when it was announced that the show had fired many of its writers. Many surmised that the show was in trouble. Not so fast. As it turns out, that was just the network trying to save some bucks, and they always intended to re-hire them when the show finally got into the full swing of production.
Granny Goodness and the Furies Attack in Smallville’s Abandoned Promo Images

Promo images from the 8th episode of “Smallville’s” 10th and final season, called “Abandoned”, which features the introduction of Granny Goodness (who is decidedly not so good) and her Female Furies into the Clark-verse. Can Darkseid be far behind? Probably not. Via Splashpage.
SyFy Officially Cancels Caprica
Sorry, fans of “Caprica”, but the SyFy Channel has officially canceled your show. Not only has the cable net made the cancellation official, but they are pulling the show off their schedule after the November 2nd, 2010 episode. That leaves five more unaired episodes, which the network plans to run in their entirety sometime in early 2011, though when exactly is unknown. After that, there will be no more “Caprica”.
TV Review: Doctor Who: Music of the Spheres
It’ll be at least three more months until fans get a new episode of “Doctor Who”, but they’ll be relieved to know there’s still some hidden nuggets that’ll help tide them over until the annual Christmas episode. “Music of the Spheres” is just one of those, an entertaining eight minute short created for the 2008 “Doctor Who Prom” held at the Royal Albert Hall. One of the least seen performances by David Tennant as the 10th Doctor, it’s certainly one fans will enjoy.
SyFy Greenlights Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome Backdoor Series Pilot
Can’t get enough of “Battlestar Galactica”, but think the whole “Caprica” thing is not for you? You’re in luck, because the SyFy Channel is heading back to more “BSG” territory with a new, two-hour “Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome” movie that will also act as a backdoor pilot for a possible ongoing series.
V: The Complete First Season DVD/Blu-ray Cover Art and Specs

Can’t wait for the second season of the new “V” show? Neither can I. Until then, though, Warner Home Video has released the cover art and specs for the upcoming “V: The Complete First Season” DVD and Blu-ray, due out November 2, 2010.

Hey ladies! Of, er, “V”. Here are some pictures of the ladies of “V” at the New York Comic Con panel. Present were Jane Badler, Morena Baccarin and Laura Vandervoort, aka three generations of the hottest alien invaders in the history of TV. Ever.
Ridley Scott to Produce Philip K. Dick Mini-Series Man in the High Castle
I love me a good alternate Earth story, and Philip K. Dick’s “The Man in the High Castle” sounds like a doozy.
News on the Ridley Scott/Philip K. Dick front has Scott producing a 4-hour mini-series for the BBC based on “The Man in the High Castle”, with “Spooks” writer Howard Brenton set to adapt the script for television.
SyFy Channel Renews Warehouse 13 for Season 3
At its best, the SyFy Channel’s “Warehouse 13″ is dumb, good clean fun. At its worst, it’s got really shoddy special effects, and, well, even then it’s still pretty dumb, good clean fun. Apparently lots of people thought so, too, because SyFy has renewed the show for a third season. Which is not unexpected, given that the show has shown strong ratings in its second season.
