Smallville Season 10 Teaser Trailer

The CW has released the “Smallville” Season 10 teaser trailer that they showed recently over at Comic Con. It teases the return of Supergirl (Laura Vandervoort, yow) and Superman finally becoming Superman. Plus, more boring Lois Lane junk, cause kids seem to love that, plus the Justice League ala Hawkman and his funky, “Oh come on, it doesn’t look like he can move in that thing AT ALL” costume show up for a laugh or two.

Darkseid Coming to Smallville, Chloe’s Exit Details

Sunday is usually the “slow” day at the Comic Con, but one of the shows that usually does their thing on Sundays is the CW’s “Smallville” and “Supernatural”. Both shows were on hand today, and from the “Smallville” panel, we learned that the 10th (and final) season will feature the arrival of Darkseid as the season’s main villain.

Stargate Universe Season 2 Plot Details

The “Stargate: Universe” crew held their Comic Con panel today in San Diego, and came prepared with plenty of Season 2 plot details for the gathered throngs. Among them, the news that the Lucian Alliance, who invaded the Destiny ship at the end of last year, won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, they’ll be sticking around permanently, and will eventually be merged into the crew.

V Season 2 Adding Anna’s Mom, A Radical New Fifth Column

ABC’s “V” got off to a great start, but quickly dipped in the ratings as the first season wore on. The season cliffhanger was a killer one, and the second season promises to be even more intense.

TV Guide has info on two new characters scheduled to make their appearance in “V” season 2:

Lost: New Man In Charge Bonus Photo

I’m not the biggest “Lost” fan out here, so I honestly have no idea what this picture is all about, but according to the mail I got, this is …

… a first look photo from the original, brand new 12-minute LOST chapter called “New Man In Charge” which offers a look at what Hurley (Jorge Garcia) and Ben (Michael Emerson) do as the new Island overseers.

New Pics from Battle: Los Angeles, Paul, Tron: Legacy, Green Lantern, and The Cape

From Entertainment Weekly’s Comic Con 2010 preview, here are new pics from some sci-fi movies and “The Cape”, the new superhero TV show from NBC. I’m not certain, but I’m almost sure the pic with Michelle Rodriguez is the first official image we’ve seen from “Battle: Los Angeles”, which we haven’t heard a whole lot from in a while.

Stargate Universe and Atlantis Crossover is in the Works

While this news from “Stargate: Universe” producer Joseph Mallozzi about an impending “Universe”/”Atlantis” cross-over will make some fans of the show happy (and infuriate others, no doubt), I fall somewhere in the middle. Here’s the deal: I’ve seen all those cross-overs by the “Stargate: SG1″ cast in “Universe”, and each and every time, even though I kind of like seeing Michael Shanks, Amanda Tapping, and Richard Dean Anderson still hanging out in the “Stargate” universe, it always feels … incongruous.

New Superhero Show The Cape Preview

With “Heroes” now off the air, NBC is getting ready to launch a new superhero show called “The Cape”. The show’s biggest star is Summer Glau of “Firefly”, “Serenity”, and “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” fame. Except in this one Summer will be playing a hot-to-trot blogger who is trying to expose corruption and villainy in the show’s fictional city. Her character will be teaming up with David Lyons, who will be playing the city’s last honest cop who becomes a superhero thanks to a super duper cape when he’s framed and believed killed by the bad guys.

Doctor Who 5.11 The Pandorica Opens Recap

The end is here for this season of “Doctor Who”, with all the dire prophecies coming home to roost. So it’s put up or shut up time for Steven Moffat, time to make an episode that lives up to everything that’s been building up since “The Eleventh Hour”. And boy does Moffat ever put up, giving us a breathless and wild show that’s as clever as it is jaw dropping. Russell T. Davies, ya got schooled.

Promo Images for Haven Episode 1.04 Harmony

Looks like Audrey Parker has decided to stay on in Haven. Mind you, not that anyone ever had any doubts. So does this mean she’ll have to give up her Special Agent badge and become a lowly town Detective? I guess we’ll find out the particulars in next week’s episode, “Harmony”.

Smallville Regulars, Including Supergirl, Expected Back for Smallville Season 10

With the end fast approaching, it looks like the producers of the CW’s aging superhero show “Smallville” is bringing back some fan favorites to close out the show in grand style. Among the old castmembers expected back for the show’s 10th (and probably final) season is Laura Vandervoort, who played Supergirl on the show, and can currently be seen sliming it up something hot in the new “V”.

A Look at Fringe’s Alternative Universe

Alternative universes? It must be “Fringe”.

Via SciFiWire, here’s a look at the set of the “Fringe” TV show. Pay attention to the bus and what it’s advertising.

Yup, apparently in the “Fringe” alternative universe, air travel is a little bit, er, slower. Or maybe that’s just for rich people who want to gaze down at us little commoners like bugs while they’re sipping champagne. Either/or.
