Transformers: Dark of the Moon Invades NASCAR’s Daytona 500

I’m not sure how many NASCAR fans are also fans of Michael Bay’s “Transformers” franchise, but if they are, they’ll be seeing plenty of the invading robots from outer space in the coming months before the film’s July 1, 2011 release date. Second TV spot for the film below.

Apollo 18 Trailer Finally Lands

I gotta admit, I’m not a big fan of this whole “found footage” genre, but hey, maybe we’ll get something actually interesting out of it other than stupid ghost movies where nothing happens until the end. Anyways, here’s the first trailer for the Timur Bekmambetov-produced “Apollo 18″.

New Images, Poster, and TV Spot for Battle: Los Angeles

A gaggle of new goods from Jonathan Liebesman’s “Battle: Los Angeles”, including a new poster, battlefield images, and very revealing TV spot. It’s gonna be a wild ride, kiddies.

Two Girl Power Featurettes for I am Number Four

Two new featurettes for D.J. Caruso’s sci-fi actioner “I am Number Four”, both focusing on the ladies. (Hey, Ladies! Ahem.) One is for Dianna Agron’s Sarah, and the other for badass alien chick Number Six (played by Teresa Palmer).

First Trailer for FOX’s Terra Nova

Not sure if this first trailer for the Steven Spielberg-produced “Terra Nova” appeared on Super Bowl Sunday or not, because I didn’t see it. Seeing as how FOX broadcasted the Super Bowl, you would think it’s a no-brainer that they would show this to gin up some interest. Don’t know for sure, but FOX has since put the 30-second spot out onto the net, and you can catch it below.

Super Bowl XLV Sci-Fi Spots: Transformers 3, Adjustment Bureau, Super 8, Battle LA, and Cowboys and Aliens

There’s a lot to like about Super Bowl XLV. For one, well, it’s the friggin Super Bowl. The only people who don’t like the Super Bowl are commies and terrorists. You’re not a commie or terrorist, are you? Okay, then.

Adult Swim Explains the Popularity of Avatar

After what is no doubt a lot of time and energy spent on research, the boys at Adult Swim have gotten down to the nitty gritty and figured out just what is it exactly that made James Cameron’s “Avatar” such a must-see film. Was it the breakthrough 3D? The $300 million dollar CGI?

Six Clips from I am Number Four

Six interesting clips (and one majorly action-packed clip) from D.J. Caruso’s upcoming “I am Number Four”, the story of how a hunky alien teen goes to a new school and falls in love with the lovely human girl from “Glee” and live happily ever after. Well, not quite.

Bollywood Film Enthiran (aka Robot) Gives New Meaning to WTF Sci-Fi

Check out the 10-minute climax for a Bollywood movie called “Enthiran” (aka “Robot”), which features, among other things, a robot guy blasting an army of cops using their own guns, then changing into a giant snake made entirely of replicas of himself (I shit you not), and other assorted nuttiness.

The Adjustment Bureau Ponders the Concept of Fate

Universal has finally released something new for Matt Damon’s “The Adjustment Bureau”. Check out this 3-minute long featurette called “Fate”. Take note: Emily Blunt has to be playing the world’s healthiest (and hottest) ballerina.

Trailer and Clip for Mike Cahill’s Another Earth

Here’s another sci-fi movie to keep an eye on: Mike Cahill’s “Another Earth”, which is making its debut over at Sundance on January 24, 2011. The premise? Pretty groovy:

On the night of the discovery of a duplicate planet in the solar system, an ambitious young student and an accomplished composer cross paths in a tragic accident.
