So how did Captain America become Captain America? Well he started out as a skinny little kid who couldn’t even enlist in the Army to fight the Nazis. Which sucks. But then someone decides he might just be the right candidate for a brand spanking new, experimental “super soldier” program, and voila, he’s suddenly Captain America and played by Chris Evans. Well, Evans plays skinny Steve Rogers and the buffed up Captain America thanks to the miracle of CGI, actually. Check out the full trailer for Marvel’s first big-budget movie below.

New Action-Packed, Alien-Heavy TV Spot for Falling Skies
Man, am I ever glad that Noah Wyle’s “Falling Skies” is on TNT. This is the kind of genre show that I just KNOW I’m going to love, and to have it appear on a network like Fox, or ABC, or NBC would have just doomed it to a struggling first year. On TNT, meanwhile, it’ll get EVERY CHANCE to grow and succeed. Man, I’m glad it’s on TNT! Anyways, here’s a new TV spot for the show via Vulture.
Aliens vs. the Mean Streets of London in Attack the Block
Hey, America has been suffering from alien invasions for centuries now, so it’s about time someone else share the pain. In Joe Cornish’s “Attack the Block”, the alien buggers take on the teenage hoodlums of South London and hilarity, as they say, ensue. The film recently made its North American debut over at SXSW, and from everything I’ve read, did a bang up job of it. Here’s a trailer, poster, and a couple of images.
Want Some Robot Action? Get Some.
With emphasis on the “some” part, cause these two clips from the futuristic robot actioner “Real Steel” is pretty blink and you miss, but still pretty damn cool. Gotta admit, I didn’t have much hope for this movie, but these clips make me rethink that opinion. For one, the robot stuff is pretty well done. Can’t wait to see more.
Watch the First 5 Minutes of Source Code Now
I love it when studios put out this much of the movie online. Duncan Jones’ “Source Code” doesn’t open until April 1, 2011, but here’s the first five minutes courtesy of Yahoo.
New Clip and Second Trailer for Source Code
Second new clip and a second trailer for Duncan Jones’ time-traveling action movie “Source Code”. The second trailer is definitely much improved over the first one they released.
