The freaks of Haven are back! Uh, I mean, the “cursed”/”troubled” of Haven are back. Either/or, they’re back this Friday, July 15th at 10/9c on the Syfy Channel. The episode is titled “A Tale of Two Audreys”, so I guess that means the stuffy looking chick in the suit is the other Audrey. Probably.

Cussing kids running from alien invaders fight back in Joe Cornish’s “Attack the Block”. The flick, which is getting tons of press lately, opens in select cities around the States on July 29th, including Los Angeles, Austin, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago, and the Toronto area in Canada.
“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” is about alien robots from outer space battling it out on Earth. And some human kid gets in the way. Plus, he’s got a new super hot Victoria’s Secret model girlfriend now. What, you actually need to know more? Of course you don’t. Check out a new trailer from Michael Bay’s sure-to-be explosive-a-thon, opening June 29, 2011, and starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Frances McDormand, Alan Tudyk, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Frank Welker, James Avery, and Peter Cullen.

Ride’em, cowboys! And, er, aliens.
J.J. Abrams’ super duper mysterious “Super 8″ movie (it’s about a monster and some kids and such) opens this Friday. In anticipation of that, Abrams and Dreamworks have released a new poster by artist Drew Struzan and three new clips, including a huge 6-minute clip from the movie.
Pat Tremblay’s “Hellacious Acres: The Case of John Glass” is being billed as a “minimalist sci-fi black comedy set in a post-apocalyptic world.” That sorta sums it up. Plus, apparently there’s a lot of walking, and voiceover narration, and though the synopsis promises “aliens and crazy survivors” standing in the way of our hero John Glass as he attempts to complete his mission, they’re not shown in this first teaser trailer.
Yeah, using “rise” with headlines for this movie is never going to get old. Never. New trailer looks good, though. Then again, I don’t get how a bunch of apes, even a few hundred, are going to take over the planet. I mean, what, they bite people and turn them into apes, too? Are there really that MANY apes out there to actually defeat the human race? Anyways, trailer looks good, though.
Love the atmosphere in this one. Can’t wait to see more.
Gotta admit, this show has me intrigued, even though it looks a bit cheap in places. It premieres on Syfy July 11 at 10/9c.

End of the Line, in association with Distillery Productions and Toby Summerskill, have filmed the first 3D Graffiti Time-lapse. Created to document the production of a painted promo for Disney’s Tron: Legacy this is the final 2D edit.
In case you’re not paying attention, the Americanized version of “Torchwood” will be funny, action-packed, and pure asskicking come alive. Or that’s what the cast/crew are promising in this latest behind-the-scenes featurette. Check it out, won’t you?
