As the epic Blu Ray (ditch your Grandpa’s DVD, Poindexter) release of Star Trek approaches (Nov 17) we are getting some data drops of some of the deleted scenes sure to light up your big screen television set. In this release we’ve got the lovely blue hued Diora Baird having none of James Tiberius Kirk’s lame excuses. Orion woman are strong baby and don’t you forget it.

Quick Promo for Lost’s Final Season 6
ABC has put out a quickie promo for the upcoming final season of their hit show “Lost”, which is set to begin and end its original TV run in 2010. As far as I can tell, there are no new footages, just old ones from the previous five, including the Kate-Sawyer cage match. Nice of them to include that one, though I’m not sure why. Also, Jack still looks like a total dork.
Video Behind The Scenes Look Of Avatar
Good old Nix just posted the international trailer for you and I’ll add this cool behind the scenes view of how “Avatar” was first imagined and then brought to the screen.
Nathan Fillion’s Firefly Tribute on Castle
In case you missed it, “Firefly” fans (oh yeah right what are the chances of that?), here’s the opening scene from a recent episode of Nathan Fillion’s crime show “Castle” on ABC, which co-stars the oh-so-lovely Stana Katic. The episode was a Halloween-themed episode, and featured Fillion, the male star of the show, dressing up in his old “Firefly” uniform during the opening seconds.
Three Clips from Milla Jovovich’s The Fourth Kind
Milla Jovovich’s upcoming thriller “The Fourth Kind” continues to convince me this thing is more horror than sci-fi. Or actually, it’s a horror movie with a sci-fi setting, ala the original “Alien”. Minus, you know, acid-spewing aliens. At least, I think those guys aren’t in here. Check out three clips from the movie below.
Is This Klingon Propaganda Film A Viral For Trek 2?
I’m thinking it’s a bit early in the development process for J.J. Abrams and his conspirators to be this sure of a storyline but you never know. Rebooted Klingons will still kick your sorry ass. Though uncertain of it’s origins, this fiendishly wicked Klingon propaganda film recalls the glorious days of similar Communist efforts.
Preview The First 7 Minutes Of ABC’S V
Now that Flash Forward is causing me some intestinal discomfort, I will turn my attentions to the next big network Sci-Fi effort called “V”. You probably know the story by now. It’s a re-imaging of the 80′s camp fest where mammal nibbling lizard people, clad in human skin, clamp down and deny us that freedom thing.
The New Avatar Trailer Arrives: Do You Still Care?
All that buzz, all that Comic Con gushing, it all went away when the first trailer for James Cameron’s “Avatar” landed online three months ago with quite possibly the biggest THUD in modern cinema. Let’s face it, it was kind of underwhelming. It was overly cartoony and obviously CG and nothing about it screamed “best movie of the year”. So has that changed with this second trailer? Judge for yourself.
Sci-Fi Creature Action vs. Mercs in D4 Teaser Trailer
So, I’ve never heard of Darrin Dickerson, but according to IMDB.com, he’s been around for a while making short films. His feature-length debut is “D4″, and he’s not just the writer/director, but also the star. That sounds like a tad much for a first-time director to have on his plate, but hey, if the rest of “D4″ is as interesting as this quick teaser trailer, then he might just prove talented enough to pull it off.
