This month’s Complex Magazine cover girl is none other than G4′s Olivia Munn, the object of wet dreams for sci-fi geeks everywhere. In the mag, Munn talks about a variety of things, including her role in Jon Favreau’s coming “Iron Man 2″.

The good blokes over at Disney have released four new images from the set of Joseph Kosinski’s “Tron: Legacy”, showing castmembers like Olivia Wilde and other fellas in their black pleather best. Check them out below.

Mythbusters man of DIY and garage hacker genius Adam Savage has a problem. It’s the same problem I have so I feel his pain. He’s really into “Blade Runner” and especially, really into Harrison Ford’s Blade Runner gun, the finest weapon outside of the light saber in movie history. The difference between Adam and I is he’s got talent and I’m a basement-less and garage-free lame condo dweller with almost no tools. It’s a sad story.
There’s a new TRON: Legacy shot out today, continuing the irritating trickle of media from what will probably be the “Avatar” of this year. In this shot we see what mysteries may lie beneath the dust covers on curious old school arcade machines.
Being an evil Empire, Darth, The Emperor and his pals need some extra incentives to lure recruits away from the Rebellion with their beautiful desert, frozen or swampy bases in the hidden and far away corners of the galaxy. Stepping Out Magazine’s January 27, 2010 cover girl is web and gaming mistress Morgan Webb. If you’re reading this site you probably already know who Webb is, but for the uninitiated, she’s the co-host and senior segment producer of the G4′s “X-Play”, and she’s also the host of fellow G4 show “Underground”. She doesn’t get out nearly as much as her fellow G4 object of geek affection Olivia Munn, but there’s always time to change that.
Just the other day I was lamenting Universal’s lack of promotion for their big-budget sci-fi movie “Repo Men”. Turns out, they might just be biding their time, because this came in the e-mail today. A new batch of images and a “Repo Men are Coming” hunt, a type of viral campaign to promote the show. More info on the “hunt” below, then after that, new images from the movie.
There is apparently some viral stuff going on for “Tron 2″, but honestly, I just don’t care to run around looking for clues. I suppose if you really, really love the idea of chasing around the Internet for scraps of info it could be fun. Or you could just sit there and wait until the goodies are found and released, which is what I do. Here’s the latest, a new pic from “Tron: Legacy” via CBM.
Sculptor Sayaka Ganz has a nice brain. I’d love to scan him. In other art forms, the canvas and materials used to create an art piece are usually static. It’s the art that is dynamic. For Sayaka, he has to imagine and conceive the tools, the medium and the artwork. At a distance, his sculptures of horses, dogs and other things are dramatic and amazingly organic. Close up, the elements in the sculptures are made of thrown away pieces of techno fluff. It’s all an assembly of spoons, wire, toys and other junk. It’s a head shaking achievement. These pictures show a happy and surfing Eliza Dushku from the ominous, non surfer vibed “Open Graves”. She’s happy because she just did a bitchin air to fakie and obviously not because of the premise behind the movie, described thusly.

For a film with its budget and A-list cast, Miguel Sapochnik’s sci-fi actioner “Repo Men” sure doesn’t seem to be getting a whole lot of love from the studio in terms of PR. There was the trailer, and some posters (two of which are below), but that’s about it. The film is opening in a month, and most people don’t even know what it’s about. That could change, but it’s doubtful the studio is suddenly going to throw money at it as the release date nears. Anyways, two new posters have popped up online. The first looks like a cool Frank Miller drawing, but the second one is just not even trying.

Olivia Wilde, seen every week being smart and delicious on House is a Sci-Fi babe in waiting. She is about to appear in skintight future fashion in Decembers “TRON: Legacy” also starring Jeff Bridges. We are not sure what part Olivia will play in the goings on within that silicon world but I can guarantee you she’ll be good and yes of course, hot.
