Two new fan-created swanky looking posters for “Tron: Legacy”, which will be arriving in 3D and IMAX everywhere (at least if you live in a big city; good luck trying to find IMAX in Podunk U.S.A., buds) December 17, 2010.

Rihanna Suits Up on Battleship Set
It looks like production on Peter Berg’s ocean-set alien invasion movie “Battleship” is in full swing, because here are pictures of R&B singer Rihanna on the set of the film, all dressed up for her role as, apparently, a Navy crewman. Via Screencave.
“Battleship” co-stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, and supermodel Brooklyn Decker.
First Look at Supergirl in Smallville Season 10
Here’s your first look at the lovely Laura Vandervoort, back on the set of “Smallville’s” upcoming 10th season as Kara aka Supergirl from TV Guide. It looks like Supergirl is in her mild-mannered disguise in this pic with Tom Welling’s Clark Kent.
Don’t Look Up: Skyline Poster
Horror site Shock Til You Drop has your first look at the new “Skyline” poster. Yes, I have no idea what a horror site is doing with an exclusive for a sci-fi movie, either.

Hello! McFly! It’s Back to the Future. Again.
Can you believe it’s been 25 years since Marty McFly took a trip back into the past in a DeLorean? The film is getting a re-release in theaters October 1, 2010 in the UK, with the entire trilogy arriving on Blu-ray October 26 in the States. As far as I know, the film is only being re-released in theaters in the UK, which sucks, but there you have it. (If anyone knows any different, let me know.)
Avatar Special Edition Re-Release Poster and International Dates
Can’t get enough of James Cameron’s “Avatar”? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one. The film has already made, I believe, a few gazillion dollars at the theaters and on DVD, and I’m sure there’s nothing like watching the film in theaters with the big ol screen and such. Cameron and company probably realizes that, too, because they’re releasing a “Special Edition” version of the movie that comes complete with additional footage.
Two New Posters for Gareth Edwards’ Monsters

Two new posters for Gareth Edwards’ monsters from outer space movie “Monsters” have been released by the studio. Please to take a gander.
Five Comic Con Posters for Battle: Los Angeles

If you were over at Comic Con last week, you saw these five viral posters for “Battle: Los Angeles”. Check them out below via Impawards.
A Marine platoon led by a tough commander (Aaron Eckhart) must face off against an alien invasion in the streets of Los Angeles. Co-starring Michelle Rodriguez, Joey King, Bridget Moynahan, Jim Parrack, Lucas Till, and Michael Peña.
Daniel Craig Wields Alien Tech in New Cowboys and Aliens Pic
Check out your first official look at Daniel Craig in Jon Favreau’s “Cowboys and Aliens” movie, getting ready to blast some alien scum apparently.
Green Lantern Movie Character Posters

Those who were at Comic Con can say if Ryan Reynolds and company managed to sell “Green Lantern” to the masses, but for my money, they probably didn’t have to. I’m there with bells on. I mean, come on, a comic book movie set in space about alien parasites and alien cops? That’s a no-brainer there, folks. Check out four excellent character posters for the upcoming movie.
Three New Images from Battle: Los Angeles
“Battle: Los Angeles” is getting a pretty big push over at Comic Con, and here are two more images from the upcoming movie to join the previous one with Michelle Rodriguez that we posted earlier in the day. The film has “The Dark Knight’s” Aaron Eckhart leading a platoon of Marines fighting alien invaders on the street of Los Angeles, hence the title. The movie was, if recall correctly, envisioned as the jumpstart of a franchise, with “battles” in other cities if the first one did well.
