Smallville: The Complete Series DVD Cover Art and Specs
The kids love their “Smallville”, currently chugging along toward its series finale (who knew it would last ten seasons when it first started?) so they’ll probably be saving up some money to by this: Warner Home Video has put out the cover art and specs for their upcoming “Smallville: The Complete Season” DVD box set. (I guess they’re saving the Blu-ray release for a future date.) Check them out below.

The Star Wars Saga Finally Arrives on Blu-ray
Regardless of how you feel about the “Star Wars” prequels, you gotta admit, getting your hands on all the “Star Wars” movies on Blu-ray is a must for any self-respecting sci-fi fan. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will be releasing the saga in three distinct sets sometime in September later this year. Until then, here are the three different sets you can get.

FlashForward Season 1 DVD Bonus Clips
“Flashforward” has come and gone, and though many jumped ship about halfway through (as I did), others stayed on hoping for a second season. Alas, a second season did not happen, but hey, there’s always the first season, which is due out as a Complete Season DVD on August 31, 2010 from Walt Disney Home Entertainment. Avatar Special Edition DVDs to Include 16 Extra Minutes of Footage
Apparently James Cameron and 20th Century Fox are not through trying to squeeze another buck out of you, because they’ve just announced that “Avatar” will be getting a Special Edition DVD sometime in November that will come with 16 more minutes of extra footage not previously seen in the first DVD release or the theatrical re-release. That will give “Avatar” a whopping 171 total minutes.
Hello! McFly! It’s Back to the Future. Again.
Can you believe it’s been 25 years since Marty McFly took a trip back into the past in a DeLorean? The film is getting a re-release in theaters October 1, 2010 in the UK, with the entire trilogy arriving on Blu-ray October 26 in the States. As far as I know, the film is only being re-released in theaters in the UK, which sucks, but there you have it. (If anyone knows any different, let me know.)
