Duncan Jones’ Followup To Moon In Trouble?
Duncan Jones is working to fund his followup to the excellent “Moon” and is apparently having some difficulties. The film is called “Mute” and was c0-written with Duncan by Mike Johnson, the writer of the upcoming Sherlock Holmes. Mr. Jones plans some juicy ode to Blade Runner vibrations in “Mute”, a story about a mute bartender in future Berlin! that goes in search of his missing girlfriend.

Now we know: the British director is gearing up production on a $25 million dollar sci-fi mystery called “Mute”. It is the film Jones has talked about doing, his “Blade Runner”-styled movie set in a futuristic society. Though the setting will be very “Blade Runner”-esque in style and aesthetics, Jones says the real plot will be more grounded.
