Been covering Rian Johnson’s time-travel action movie “Looper” for a while, so I’m glad to finally see something from it. Your first pic from the movie (via Empire) has Bruce Willis blasting away at some poor slob with a P90. In the flick, Willis plays the older version of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, a “time hitman” in the movie. As you can imagine, when our hero meets himself from the future, things get a tad hairy. (Even, er, if his future self doesn’t have any hair. Ahem.)

Bruce Willis Joins Joseph Gordon-Levitt In Time Traveler Looper
Bruce Willis has hopped on aboard Rian Johnson’s sci-fi flick “Looper”, according to Deadline Hollywood.
In “Looper”, Bruce and Gordon-Levitt will play the same character with some juicy time travel complications.
A synopsis,
Rian Johnson’s Looper Plot Explained
So what the heck is Rian Johnson’s time travel movie “Looper” actually about? There were some contradictions when it was announced that Joseph Gorden-Levitt was in negotiations to take the lead in the movie. Talking to Cinematical, Johnson explains the movie’s plot for all:
Joseph Gordon-Levitt Re-Teaming with Rian Johnson for Looper
If you can’t get behind the premise of Rian Johnson’s “Looper”, then I just don’t know what to say to you, except you just don’t appreciate good sci-fi, and you should go find a website about “Gossip Girl” instead of wasting your time here.
Rian Johnson Talks Looper
While doing the PR rounds for his new movie “The Brothers Bloom”, Rian Johnson (of “Brick” fame) talked a bit about his upcoming film “Looper”, a time-travel story with, apparently, “lots of action” and violence. Although, Johnson is eager to point out, it’s more of a character-based movie, and that the time-travel aspect will just be one part of it.
Brick Director Time Travels in Looper
I’ve never seen Rian Johnson’s teen high school noir “Brick”, but I sure have heard good to great things about it. People who have seen it seems to really love it, which means I gotta give it a shot sooner or later. Anyways, Rian Johnson’s next movie is more in line with us, a sci-fi time-travel movie in the vein of a Philip Dick short story. Or at least that’s how the writer-director is describing it.
