I’m not entirely sure what “Legend of the Seeker’s” second season will be all about, but it seems to feature lots of scenes with Charisma Carpenter and other lovely ladies wearing skintight red outfits (and even one girl-on-girl smooch!). That’s, you know, kinda hot. Season 2 promos for “Legend of the Seeker”, including a brief teaser for the upcoming season below. The show returns to the airwaves November 7.

Legend of the Seeker Adds a Vulcan, an Angel, and a Football Brat to Season 2
As the Sam Raimi-produced fantasy show “Legend of the Seeker” gears up for its second season, it’s adding some new faces to the roster — “Star Trek: Enterprise’s” sexy Vulcan Jolene Blalock will be joining the show as its new heavy, while former “Angel” castmember Charisma Carpenter will have a guest spot on the show’s Season 2 premiere episode. “Friday Night Lights’” Aimee Teegarden will also be checking in.
Legend of the Seeker Renewed for Second Season
I haven’t seen a full episode of the Sam Raimi-produced Legend of the Seeker syndicated action-adventure show yet, although I’ve always been meaning to do so. The show has everything I usually like in my fantasy adventure, including pretty girls, tough good guys, cool magic, and swordfights. From what I’ve seen of the show, though, including a long 15-minute opening that was released a while back, it looks like a pretty well-produced, shot, and directed show, and not at all like the “kitchy” shows that Raimi used to do, ala Xena and Hercules. Anyways, according to Variety, Legend of the Seeker has gotten the greenlight for a second season.

See if the plot for the Sam Raimi-produced TV show Legend of the Seeker sounds familiar: a young, simple country boy who dreams of being something more is sought out by an attractive, mysterious woman who is leading a rebellion against a tyrannical ruler whose very name causes people to shudder in fear; with the help of a crazy old man who lives alone, the boy learns to accept his destiny and embrace his role as savior. Okay, so maybe it doesn’t take a whole lot of imagination to guess that whoever wrote the “Legend of the Seeker” books probably got an itty bitty inspiration from George Lucas’ Star Wars flicks. Except instead of space ships and lightsabers, Legend of the Seeker has horses and swords. Now if only Sam Raimi and the producers can convince Bridget Regan to slip on a gold metal bikini…

Preview: Sam Raimi’s Legend of the Seeker
This looks interesting: a new fantasy-based TV series called Legend of the Seeker, a new syndicated TV show (that means it won’t be showing up on any one particular network or channel, but will depend on how many stations it can be pre-sold to) from Sam Raimi (the director of the “Spider-man” movies, and before that, the low-budget “Evil Dead” horror movies), and based on Terry Goodkind’s Wizard’s First Rule and The Sword of Truth novels. I’ve never even heard of it before, but promo images and a trailer for the show are on the net.
