Everytime I post something about “Halo”, and if there’s even a hint of dying devotion and slobbering love for the game missing from the article, “Halo” gaming fanboys invariably hop on to bitch and moan and throw out ridiculous lines like, “If you haven’t read all the novels and played all the spin-off games and made your very own ‘Halo’ costume you shouldn’t be writing about ‘Halo’ cause you obviously don’t love it!!!” Or some such other totally moronic nonsense. Look, fanboys, it’s not that I don’t think your favoritest game in the whole wide world isn’t the best game ever created by man or God or the Great Unknown Master of the Universe, it’s just that, eh, I don’t slave myself to my XBox day in and day out playing the damn thing. You got that? Good. Now moving on.

Microsoft Says Halo Movie is Not Quite Dead Yet
Another Trailer for Halo: Reach
I gotta admit, of all the game releases, the “Halo” boys always seem to put out the best trailers out there. They’re always expensive, slick, and live-action, giving you a taste of what a “Halo” movie could be if someone finally got their shit together and actually got it made. Well, this latest “Halo: Reach” trailer isn’t nearly as cool as the previous ones, but it’s still pretty well-done despite not showing a heck of a lot.
Relax, Halo Fans, a Halo Movie WILL Happen. Eventually.

For all you “Halo” fans out there that have given up on a “Halo” movie ever happening, “Halo” head honcho Frank O’Connor wants you to relax, because they will eventually do a movie based on the popular game. It’s not, O’Connor indicates, a matter of “if”, but more like “when”.
Microsoft Sorta Debunks Spielberg-Halo Movie Rumor
You know, I’ve played the Halo game before, and I don’t get why it’s so popular. It looked and felt like a generic sci-fi-themed first-person shooter to me, except you can drive a dune buggy around blasting enemies. Other than that, I really don’t see anything special about it, or why people are clamoring for a movie version. That said, Microsoft has now responded to rumors of Steven Spielberg possibly coming onboard to produce the long-stalled “Halo” movie.
