Fringe Season 4 Teaser Trailer

The fourth season of “Fringe” returns September 23rd. I think Peter is missing or something…

Fox Renews Fringe for a Full Fourth Season

Ratings schmatings. Who needs a lot of viewers? FOX certainly doesn’t, which may come as a surprise to a heck of a lot of people. Or maybe FOX realizes “Fringe” is already three seasons in, and with another full season, it could hike up its number of episodes toward that magical 100 episodes that most shows need to clean up in syndication. Regardless of the reasons, it’s official: FOX has renewed “Fringe” for the a full fourth season pick-up.

Fringe Survives its First Friday Night Death Slot Test

Ah, Fridays. It hasn’t exactly been kind to genre TV. Especially genre shows from FOX. Hell, the last show that did well in the time slot was the “X-Files”, and that was what, a gazillion years ago?

A Look at Fringe’s Alternative Universe

Alternative universes? It must be “Fringe”.

Via SciFiWire, here’s a look at the set of the “Fringe” TV show. Pay attention to the bus and what it’s advertising.

Yup, apparently in the “Fringe” alternative universe, air travel is a little bit, er, slower. Or maybe that’s just for rich people who want to gaze down at us little commoners like bugs while they’re sipping champagne. Either/or.

Fringe Comic Con 2010 TV Guide Cover

Says Warner Bros. TV:

BURBANK, Calif. (July 12, 2010) – Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) and TV Guide Magazine have cooked up something special for fans at this year’s Comic-Con: a special edition of the magazine devoted solely to programming from the Studio, with four collectible covers featuring the hit television series “The Big Bang Theory,” “Fringe,” “Smallville” and “The Vampire Diaries.”

Fox Renews Fringe for Third Season

Well looky here — FOX seems to have some honest to goodness faith in a sci-fi show for once, because the network has renewed the J.J. Abrams-produced “Fringe” for a third season, despite the show suffering some ratings decline after its recent move to a new timeslot. Usually genre shows, especially sci-fi, don’t fare very well on FOX, but to get a second season, much less a third one? That’s practically unheard of over at FOX post-”X-Files”.

Fringe’s Anna Torv Has A Naughty Side

There is something about sexy librarian types. The only thing Anna Torv, who plays paranormal investigator Olivia Dunham on Fringe, needs to completely disable my fore brain is a nice conservative pair of glasses. Anna, an Australian for those not in the know, has appeared in Esquire magazine in the women they love section in more casual dress than she appears in on Fringe. She is sun lit and gorgeous. Below is Anna in her glory. Thanks Scifiwire for the tip.

Leonard Nimoy Answers Some Fringe Burning Questions

Fringe Joshua Jackson, John NobleFans of The Nimoy will know that tonight’s episode of “Fringe” is a must see. Tonight we get some answers about what happened to Olivia over there on Earth B, where the Two Towers still stand.

Fringe Season 2 Cast Promos and Video Teasers

I haven’t been following Fringe, mostly when it was first coming out I had a choice of either following Fringe or CBS’ The Eleventh Hour. I chose the latter. Well, Hour is gone, cancelled, and I still haven’t devoted enough time to Fringe, which is entering its second season. Oops.

Learning To Appreciate Petulance In First Peek At The Second Season Of Fringe

fringe-season-2-posterI’m going to give Fox’s “Fringe” another shot this year. It wasn’t until the appearance of his Nimoy-ness that Fringe reappeared on my Sci-Fi radar screen. Also, John Noble is seriously and I mean seriously, a completely awesome actor. Fringe has potential. Multiple universes, Lance Reddick from the Wire, the best cop show in television history and the old school X-files vibration. I just wish the stupid science would go away. Please, make it go away.

Fringe Season 2 Poster

At the end of Fringe’s first season, the female lead played by Anna Torv apparently found herself in an alternate dimension. I think. I haven’t been keeping up with the show, so I don’t really know, but that’s the idea I got from the season 1 finale‘s final minutes someone put up on YouTube.

Fringe Season 2 Preview Clip, Season 1 Finale Final Scene

A couple of clips from Fox’s Fringe, which I hear did pretty well during its season 1 finale. One of the clips is the Season 2 preview, which shows scenes from the upcoming season, while the other clip is the SPOILERIFIC scene that finished up the Season 1 finale, and features a very logical guest appearance.

Fringe and Heroes Officially Renewed, Chuck in Limbo

As reported here and elsewhere, we already suspected that FOX would be renewing Fringe for a second season, but it took them today to make it official. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the J.J. Abrams sci-fi show will be returning for a second season with a full 22-episode order. Heroes on NBC, meanwhile, has also officially been renewed for a fourth season, but may return with as few as 18-20 episodes this time around. Fans of Chuck, on the other hand, will have to wait a little longer for official word that their spy show is coming back for a third season. Or not.

Leonard Nimoy Gives Us More Info On His Fringe Role

Leonard Nimoy has been cast as William Bell, the international man of mystery behind Massive Dynamic and former lab partner of Walter Bishop. Recently, Leonard spoke with Entertainment Weekly and gave them a bit more detail into his role and how he came to be involved.

A Taste:

FOX Pretty Much Confirms Fringe has been Renewed for Second Season

Fans of J.J. Abrams’ sci-fi show Fringe should be happy at this news. No, not that Fringe will be moving its production from New York to Vancouver next year (although the show is supposedly based in Boston, natch), but that there will be a next year. Then again, considering the favorite time slot FOX put Fringe, was there really any doubt they had a soft spot for the show?
