“Drones” is being described as televisions The Office gene spliced with “The Day The Earth Stood Still” but for some reason it looks like a perfectly normal day, at where I work anyway. “Drones” is a Sci-Fi movie about to premiere at the SlamDance film festival in Utah. You’ve got some very funny people from Freaks and Geeks, Buffy, Firefly, you name it. They’re all packed in to this story about aliens come to decide when Earth should get popped like a balloon while simultaneously surviving office romance. Looks good.
