I wasn’t much of a fan of ABC’s canceled “Defying Gravity”, mostly because I don’t like too much drama with my space faring action. Plus, it just never struck me as overly sci-fi, astronauts and space notwithstanding. In any case, I do know there are a lot of fans of the show on the site, and perhaps this will interest them. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is releasing the entire first season on DVD January 19, 2010. DVD cover art and complete specs for the 4-disc set below.

Is Defying Gravity Canceled or isn’t it? ABC Answers.
I never really gave Defying Gravity a shot, mostly because the concept of Grey’s Anatomy In Space made me want to barf. I have no use for Grey’s Anatomy, so any offshoot of it, well, ain’t that tempting. Recent rumors have Defying Gravity being canceled after just eight episodes. This, says ABC, is not true.
TV Review: Defying Gravity Premiere
I didn’t know very much about “Defying Gravity” before taking the plunge and watching the two hour movie premiere on ABC. I actually DVR’d it, because True Blood was on at the same time and I love sexy vampire chicks.
