There has always been a pretty good chunk of the American population that believes in government conspiracies, which is probably why the 1978 conspiracy movie “Capricorn One” did so well. Thirty years later, those same people still exists — and if anything, there seems to be more of them, thanks in no small part to the wide spread of the Internet. (The net is full of 9/11 conspiracy “truthers”, for example). New Regency is set to cash in on those losers by remaking “Capricorn One” with director John Moore, who previously helmed air-themed movies “Flight of the Phoenix” and “Behind Enemy Lines”.
