Japan’s “Big Man Japan” opened in 2007, but it’s just now getting a U.S. release. Two cliips for ya, one featuring Big Man Japan as he confronts the Stink Monster, whose sole power seems to be, well, it emits a really nasty odor. I love how the scene begins, with Big Man Japan just going up to the Stink Monster and asking him what he’s doing, and the guy/it’s like, “What?” And he’s like, “Dude, you stink,” and then it’s on like Donkey King. Well, sort of. They kinda argue some more and stuff.

A dream of mine is to someday live in Japan. I imagine that living there is something like living a few years in the future. Japan is also pretty much the mecca of all things FI. It can be a strange flavour of FI, to the western mind, but I am open to their unusual ways and their strange devices.
