Comic Con Reels for Syfy’s Alphas, Warehouse 13 and Being Human

Nix July 18, 2012

If there was ever a network designed from the ground up to take full advantage of Comic Con weekend in San Diego, it would have to be the Syfy Channel. Yes, even know, when the network’s sci-fi shows have to battle for space with reality TV junk and pointless “competition” shows. And so, this year the network held various panels, and during those panels, showed sizzle reels for their Comic Con friendly shows. Season 2 of “Alphas” premieres later next week: “Being Human” heads into its third season next year: And “Warehouse 13″ is gearing up for its fourth season, starting next week:

Maybe there’d be enough action in it to keep me invested and the writing would most likely be great. Alas I was wrong about the action. But the writing, by God the writing was amazing. This show gets by on the characters and the stories alone. The season was only six… Continue Reading »

Being Human Season 2 Extended Trailer

Nix July 9, 2010

BBC America has released an extended trailer for the second season of their “Three’s Company with Monsters” show “Being Human”. The second season kicks off its premiere episode on Saturday, July 24th, immediately following the “Doctor Who” season finale, so tune in or, you know, get eaten. For those unfamiliar, “Being Human” stars Aidan Turner, Russell Tovey and Lenora Crichlow as three apparent twenty-something characters sharing a house in Totterdown, Bristol, trying to live a normal social life, despite being a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost, respectively. Hey, the rent’s cheap, what can I say?
