Note: this is not an actual scene from Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus”. Instead, it’s a clever, well-done viral video featuring a character name Peter Weyland, whose family tree would go on to found the notorious Weyland-Yutani Corporation that runs the “Alien” universe and, now, the “Prometheus” universe as well. As you can see from Weyland’s speech, there’s a reason why these guys end up being the background villains of the “Alien” franchise. They are, to say the least, not very humble fellas.
Check out the latest image from Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus”, which finds Noomi Rapace skulking about a mysterious alien ship with some mysterious alien types lurking about behind her in the corridor. Those guys are somewhat dark, but they sure look mighty familiar…
As part of their 2012 movie preview, USAToday has new images from “Men in Black 3″ featuring MIB partners Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith and “Prometheus” star Noomi Rapace. Check them both out below.
Sheesh. Talk about kicking a dead horse to death. It seems that way with not one, not two, but three “preview trailers” for this 1-minute long teaser trailer for Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus”. Thank God the damn thing actually looks AWESOME. Without further delay, check out the official teaser trailer for Scott’s return to the sci-fi genre below.
Because Fox thinks Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus” will blow your minds clearly out of your skulls, they’re dropping the trailer (due out tomorrow) in little 30-second snippets filled with the director talking about the movie. Until tomorrow, check out all three 30-second spots below. You do get to see little bits and pieces of the upcoming trailer, so that’s kinda cool.
Yes, we’re now posting trailers for upcoming movie trailers. Two, to be exact. Hey, it’s the way the (online movie news) world works nowadays, so get onboard or hop off, fella. Anyways, check them both out below (via Apple). The trailer itself is due out in 3 days, so that’s something to look forward to, right?
Lots of sci-fi posters this week, probably because the studios are trying to get all their stuff out there before the Holidays and beat the Christmas break rush. (Got all your gift shopping done yet? No? Get to it, then!)
Remember those Entertainment Weekly scans? Well, Fox has released the official versions, plus a couple of new ones that we didn’t post previously. Check them out below, won’t you?
The master is back at the genre he helped define, so it’s no wonder sci-fi fans are anxious to see what he’s cooked up. Here are three new images from the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. Update: Swapped the scans with the official studio releases, plus two new images.
