The SyFy Channel’s Sanctuary is another show I haven’t gotten into, mostly because the pilot didn’t pull me in enough to develop any loyalties toward it. Anyways, the show apparently has done well enough that it’s returning for a second season, which is set to premiere Friday on October 9, 2009. Two new cast promos for the show below.
By the way, is it just me, or do I not see a spunky blonde anywhere in these two pics…?

I think the blonde chick now is a part for “The Cabal”. And the new Brunette(the Invincible chick) will be part from “Sanctuary Team”. This is my conjecture.

Ashley is with cabal but thats not the same invincible girl from the last season. So i dont know who she is.

I love the new show, I like someone else before me wish they could bring more shows like this back. I really love Amanda, she was great on SG1. I to wish they wouldn't have killed off Ashely, but I guess she will be in another series with Kevin Sorbo. I am trying to like the new Stargate Universe, but it is really a sad depressing show so far. Its like they have tried to combine SG1 ,Battlestar galactica, and Stargate Atlantis into one show. I will give it a few more episodes to gain momentum, then will pull out if it doesn't.
Christopher Heyerdahl plays John Druitt/Jack the Ripper as well he is also Bigfoot on Sanctuary: he's the bald guy.
His voice is familair to SG: Atlantis where he was Todd The Wraith and without the makeup he had a recurring role as one of Teyla's people.
blonde chick had horrible hair and makeup and looked much better in the last episode…
She wont be missed but she'll be back…. like any Dr Who fan knows, when there is no body, the character always come back (and even with a dead body, its not a problem).
Sanctuary will not be the same without Ashley.
