Buckle Your Seatbelts, Kids, it’s Three Clips From Surrogates

Johnathan Mostow’s “Surrogates” is a sci-fi action movie with a killer idea, but I just don’t see it doing a whole lot of business when it opens later this week, September 25th, which coincidentally is also the same opening day for “Pandorum”. That’s two major sci-fi Hollywood movies in one week. When was the last time you saw that?

Set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop (Willis) is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others’ surrogates.

Starring Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, Boris Kodjoe, James Francis Ginty, James Cromwell, Ving Rhames, Jack Noseworthy, Devin Ratray, and directed by Johnaton Mostow.
