But it sure looks like he’s not gonna get it. Ol Bruce Willis’ younger self in Rian Johnson’s “Looper” is somewhat of a selfish jerk from the looks of it, and would rather live the 30 or so years he has left instead of helping his older self survive. Or at least, that’s the premise of this new UK trailer for “Looper”.
In the year 2042, a mob hitman assassinates targets that arrive from the future of 2072. For him it’s just a job… till he receives a new target: himself from the future.
Also starring Emily Blunt, Piper Perabo, Garret Dillahunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels.
The future collides with the past in a big ol mess on September 28, 2012.
