Being old and Canadian, I was treated in my post larvae stage to some fine 70′s British Sci-Fi television. Nobody did great Sci-Fi with no money like the Brits.
Coming soon to a theatre near you will be a remake of the wicked “UFO”, where aliens once again invade, but this time, instead of stopping at mere subjugation and tyranny, the Aliens (that’s all they were called) used us for our tender fleshy inner bits. “UFO” was created by the same team that dropped the geektastic Stingray, Thunderbirds, and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Gerry Anderson and Sylvia Anderson. Oh those were the days.
This new version will star Joshua Jackson, now experienced in the Sci-Fi thanks to “Fringe” and will be helmed by Matthew Gratzner. Joshua will play Paul Foster, a test pilot that joins Shado, an organization that pretends to be a movie studio but instead is all that stands between us and getting de-spleened by ice cold alien probe-age. Thanks Cinematical for the good news.
