The last time Brent Spiner and Saul Rubinek butted heads, Saul had the drop on ol Spiner for most of an episode of “Star Trek: The Next Generation”. But eventually, Spiner’s Data prevailed. So what’s going to happen the next time the two square off again? We’ll find out in the fourth season of “Warehouse 13″, where Spiner will be guest-starring in a 6-episode arc.
In the upcoming season, “Star Trek” alum Spiner will play Brother Adrian, the leader of a top-secret sect known as the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Black Diamond, who are “descended from the Knights Templar and connected to the Vatican. It is charged with the protection of many powerful artifacts, one of which Artie desperately needs to make everything right again,” says “Warehouse 13″ executive producer Jack Kenny.
Apparently the Brotherhood are in possession of a powerful artifact that Rubinek’s Saul needs in order to restore the destroyed Warehouse and bring the gang all back together, but Spiner’s Brother Adrian isn’t quite ready to part with it.
Spiner and Rubinek previously co-starred on the “Star Trek: The Next Generation” episode “The Most Toys”, in which Rubinek’s evil character had Spienr’s Data imprisoned. It would be ironic if that was reversed in one of the “Warehouse 13″ episodes.
