Some kind soul has posted our very first look at the teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi actioner “Inception” on YouTube. The trailer was shown in front of Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds”, which opened last Friday, and Yahoo! Movies will be debuting the trailer online on Monday. Until then, check out the bootleg version.
The quality is, expectedly, not the best, but there are a couple of “out there” scenes in this that really does seem to live up to the whole very vague “set in the architecture of the mind” description that we’ve been hearing about it. We will, of course, post the official version when it touches down next week.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanebe, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy and Michael Caine. It’s due out in 2010.
