“Transformers 3: Michal Bay Blows More Shit Up Coz You Know You Like It” (I could be wrong about that subtitle) was recently announced by Paramount as a 2011 movie. Not so, says the explosions master himself, who writes on his site’s forum that he actually told Paramount he would be ready in 2012, not 2011. Oops!
From Shoot for the Edit, Bay’s blog, The Bay posted this himself:

I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating Transformers 3 – they asked me on the phone – I said yes to July 4 – but for 2012 – whoops! Not 2011!!! That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots.
Michael

Either that, or they were hoping The Bay would just go along with it. Stupid Paramount. They don’t know that The Bay don’t just go along with nothin’. He’s a rebel, man. A rebel with a camera who likes explosions. Lots and lots of explosions. To wit:
