Battle: Los Angeles Viral Site Launches

Earlier in the day I was lamenting the lack of publicity or indeed, seemingly interest by the studio to promote their (probably a very expensive) sci-fi action movie “Battle: Los Angeles”. As it turns out, Sony may just be biding their time until Comic Con weekend, because today they’ve launched an official site that is apparently also something of a viral site.

I am personally not a fan of these viral/faux sites. They’re always a little too clever for their own good, and the vast majority of moviegoers could care less or indeed, have the time to sift through them. I think they’re a waste of time and money, money that could be better spent on, oh I don’t know, an actual site with actual content, maybe?
