Battle: Los Angeles Gets A Release Date

“Battle: Los Angeles”, starring Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Pena and Bridget Moynahan has scored a release date on Feb 18, 2011. This is a long way away. Real aliens could come down from the planet of the sharp toothed, razor clawed, raygun sporting mole people and actually invade us in the interim.

Aaron Eckhard (Dark Knight) plays a Marine staff sargent leading his men in street to street battle in, you guessed it, Los Angeles. I’m hoping for a Cloverfield sci-fi vibe. Man I loved Cloverfield. Chris Bertolini and Scott Silver wrote the script and Battle is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman. I’m not even sure anything has been filmed yet. It is listed as being in pre-production.
