Well, this is certainly exciting news, especially if you’re a fan of ABC’s new “V” show. Or even if you aren’t, but loved the original, then this may get you to start watching the new rebooted version. Or not.

The SyFy Channel has released promo images and a couple of preview teasers from their upcoming remake of the hit British supernatural show “Being Human”. The American version stars former “Smallville” Sams, Sam Witwer and Sam Huntington, along with Canadian actress Meaghan Rath. Witwer isthe vampire, Huntington howls at the moon as the werewolf, while Rath is the ghost.
Here’s your first look at a teaser poster for the Timur Bekmambetov-produced alien “found footage” movie “Apollo 18″, coming to you March 2011.
The film will be shot found-footage style, purporting to depict lost recordings from Apollo 18′s mysterious mission to our lunar friend where, suffice to say, something very, very bad happened to the crew.
So, uh, apparently not a whole lot of you people liked the Brothers Strause’s “Skyline”, if the comments in our review of the film are any indication. (Read them in all their hateful glory here.) I personally thought the film was okay, even entertaining to a point, but then again, I have very, very low expectations for a movie about invading aliens that suck their victims up through a vacuum into their motherships. Still, even I was a little displeased with the awful characters and seemingly pointless running around the building trying to escape “plot”.

Urban is Dredd, Olivia Thirlby is psychic Judge Cassandra, and Pete Travis directs from a script by “Sunshine’s” Alex Garland.
