Previously, we reported that Michael Bay, director of “Transformers”, has already finished up his script for “Transformers 2″, and now it appears as if he’s already shown it to the film’s star, Shia LaBeouf. The young buck tells Empire Online that the sequel will have “insane shit”. No, really. Read the rest of what Shia says below.

I have to admit that when I first saw Katee Sackhoff on Battlestar Galactica, I didn’t exactly fell in love. In fact, I kinda of loathe her character. But slowly but surely (about the third episode), Katee Sackhoff and Starbuck grew on me, until she was the best thing about the show. She translated that likability to The Bionic Woman, where even playing a bad girl, she was still the best thing about that short-lived TV show. Here is our spotlight on Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff, the ass-kickingest chick on sci-fi.

Now I’m really not sure what a horror site like Fangoria is doing providing info on a sci-fi movie like “Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem”, but I’m not complaining. Fox Home Entertainment is releasing “AVP-R” on DVD April 15, 2008, and here is your first look at the DVD cover art and disk specs. The DVD will come in two versions — a 94-minute “R” rated and a 101-minute Unrated version.

I have a soft spot for Kenneth Johnson’s original “V” mini-series, aka “V: The Original Miniseries”. In fact, I have a soft spot for Ken himself. Once, a while back, after viewing the “V” DVD, I emailed Ken and, to my astonishment, actually got a response. Now, Ken returns with “V: The Second Generation”, a novel that picks up 20 years after the events of the first “V” mini-series, but not “V: The Final Battle” mini-series, which Ken was not involved in. And oh yeah, forget the crappy TV show; it has nothing to do with “Second Generation”, either.

Jericho’s miraculous resurrection after being cancelled by CBS has achieved near legendary status — nuts. And lots of nuts. But if the Season 2 opener is any indication, CBS may be re-thinking their renewed hope in Jericho. The show’s return to the airwaves failed to deliver in the ratings, coming in second to a repeat of Law and Order and a first-run episode of Boston Legal. The numbers, alas, were about the same middling numbers that got it cancelled in the first place.

If you’re one of the legion of Trekkies waiting with bated breath for December to see J.J. Abrams’ reboot of the Trek franchise with Star Trek 11, then you’ll just have to wait five extra months, because Paramount has decided that Trek 11 would make a better Summer flick than a Christmas flick, and has changed the film’s release date from December 2008 to May 2009.

NBC has released their schedule of shows they expect back for next season — they include the third season of Heroes, the second season of which was shortened because of the writer’s strike, and the second season of the new series Chuck. The Heroes renewal is no surprise, but Chuck was a little uncertain, since the show fell in the ratings after a strong start.

If Aussie Sam Worthington is not trying to make his bones as Hollywood’s go-to guy for sci-fi epics, then he’s doing a heck of a bad job at it. After winning the coveted leading man role in James Cameron’s sure-to-be massive hit “Avatar”, Worthington has now landed the plum role in the upcoming “Terminator” trilogy, starting with the first, “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins”, alongside Christian Bale.

Five new clips from the new Knight Rider TV series has appeared online. The new Knight Rider premieres as a 2-hour movie (or “back door pilot” as it’s being called) on February 17, 2008 on NBC. Mike Tracer, the knew Michael Knight, is a pretty good brawler. Check out Clip 4 as he goes mano-a-mano with a thug in a cramped hallway.
