Astro Boy Shows His Stuff In Awesome Action Clip

Astro Boy (2009) Movie ImageFor some strange reason, perhaps my neurons are backfiring again, “Astro Boy” until very recently hadn’t hit that often inflamed Sci-Fi nerve.

When I thought of  “Astro Boy”, I thought, weird hair, kids movie, move on. Watching these trailers and videos is making me realize that I’m wrong. It’s time to get right and get smart. Astro Boy looks awesome. If you’ve been on the fence, this trailer will topple you over the side into fanboy territory. Astro Boy looks smart, re-imagining the whole Pinocchio thing and has some wicked world building with some of the best droids I’ve ever seen. Check the clip out and pencil it into your weekend. Io9 has some exclusive concept art from the movie and has a nice breakdown of the goods from their as yet unpublished review.
