Caught this TV spot for the SyFy channel’s new Stargate show Universe while watching their premiere of the Warehouse 13 pilot last night. More of the same footage we’ve seen, but also some new ones, including more focus on the characters. Looks very much like a lot of the cast are non-military, which is another big change from the previous two shows in the franchise. I’m still not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing, but I’ll certainly keep an open mind until I see the pilot. If this thing ends up being nothing more than a bunch of whiny civvies trapped on a ship, I’m bailing like a fat kid chasing cake.
