Another Mutant Chronicles Poster

Put Thomas Jane in an action movie and I’m there with bells on. Yes, even “The Punisher”, as bad as it got at times, was still good simply because Jane has just the right combination of acting skills and physical believability for these type of roles. His latest is “The Mutant Chronicles”, and another poster for the movie has surfaced online over at the Raw Studios forum. Take a gander at it below.
Set in the distant future when the Earth is no longer inhabitable and the Megacorporations have banded together to control the remaining planets and their moons. When an alien force of undead Necromutants known as the Dark Legion prepares to attack the inhabited Mars, the Megacorporations assemble a band of warriors to destroy the warlord Alakhai. Together they return to Earth, infiltrate Alakhai’s gothic Citadel, and attempt to reduce it to rubble.
“The Mutant Chronicles”, directed by Simon Hunter (”Lightouse”) from a script by Philip Eisner, is scheduled for 2008, but no exact schedule has been announced as yet. Why the delay? No idea.

Why is it labeled as “The New Dark Ages”? Do they mean that barbarity, barely-making-it feodal kingdoms, poverty and constant war reigns anew? In space?
I’m in.
