AVP R(Retarded) was even worse. It had no originality, and didn’t stand up to the Alien or Predator films. The acting was stupid, and the few action scenes there were, are short. What the hell happened to Pred’s fighting Aliens?! The action was over as soon as it began. In AVP, at least the major fight scenes like Grid vs Celtic and Scar vs Queen lasted longer, and we didn’t no who would win.I don’t want to focus on some teens running around and shooting shit! The Aliens were also downgraded. They pushed Wolf around instead of impaling him, attacked slowly, came at him one at a time instead of altogether like in Aliens, and were somehow beaten by weapons of today, weapons that weren’t even armor piercing or explosive tipped. They weren’t even scary! They were also dumber and don’t even follow the same behavioral patterns. Wolf leaves himself open, he doesn’t cover his back, and there is no ruthlessness to him like the ones we see in the Predator movies. and how the hell does the predalien inject it’s hosts with chestbursters?!!

If they had gone with a script that appealed to the fans and was set in space like the games and comics are, then it would’ve made a better film.
