Aliens vs Predator 2 – Requiem DVD Cover Art and Specs

Now I’m really not sure what a horror site like Fangoria is doing providing info on a sci-fi movie like “Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem”, but I’m not complaining. Fox Home Entertainment is releasing “AVP-R” on DVD April 15, 2008, and here is your first look at the DVD cover art and disk specs. The DVD will come in two versions — a 94-minute “R” rated and a 101-minute Unrated version.

The single DVD retails for $29.98, the two-disc set is $34.98, the Blu-ray is $39.98 and a two-pack of AVPR-R and the unrated original ALIEN VS. PREDATOR will be available for $34.98.

    I’m a big fan of aliens and predators but I did not see this one it looks good but how much will the dvd cost

    Does anyone relate this film to say, a really foul-smelling silent fart?

    This was one of the poorest film launches I’ve ever seen. I do have interest in the “R” version of something like this and wish that they’d get it through the thick “everything must be PG-13″ skulls that adult audiences can be market-collecting as well.

    I envision the DVD as coming like I AM LEGEND did – 22,95 retail, a bit less via Walmart.

    This will be another sad victim of “missed it in the theater” but probably didn’t miss out just like I AM LEGEND was. I like that, I liked Wil Smith in it, I like the very subdued but negative perspective of the whole thing and frankly I think I’m preferring the alternative ending.
