Alien Rights In District 9

“District 9″ is coming this summer from Sony and video and short film director creator Neill Blomkamp. Aliens have landed, have entered our society and are now apparently the victims of segregation.

There is a ton of really cool viral marketing surrounding this movie, centered around a few websites including D-9.com and multinationalunited.com. Both are really worth a look. The film looks to be partly based on Neill’s excellent short film Alive In Joburg, again Aliens living among us, this time with a South African angle. Coming August 14th.
