Alex Proyas’ Knowing is #1 at the Box Office

Now this was certainly nice to see. Not that a Nicolas Cage movie had landed in first place at the box office, but that an Alex Proyas film has landed at first place. As an unabashed fan of Proyas’ work, I’m happy to see the guy get this kind of success. It can only mean more movies from the director, and if all goes well … a “Dark City” sequel, perhaps?

For starters I didn’t buy into all the hype… why, because I just recently heard about this movie. I didn’t hear anything good or bad just that it existed. Well I enjoy “scary” movies so figured Id check it out.
