You cant dump the WW2 parallel….that's the whole point of the series! History repeats itself and each younger generation is ignorant and cocky to listen to the warnings of the elders against fascist regimes.

Thank God they’re dumping the WWII parallel. It’s so heavy handed that it will never work if just remade. Still…would be nice if it were better than 4400.

Oh my, I HATE hearing that! I think it sucks when new writers come and take over projects that have become classics. The most amazing thing about V is that it brought so many of the plights of humanity to a new generation through the allegory of science fiction. Hearing how it’s going to basically be a different story really disappoints me.
On a side note, I tried to watch the 4400 and just couldn’t get into at all.
