ABC Buys Rights To German Disaster Mini Series

ABC has secured the rights to the German made miniseries “Impact” that stars David James Elliott, Natasha Henstridge, Steven Culp and James Cromwell and is directed by Michael Rohl (”Eureka”).

The story tells the classic tale of a meteor gone wild. After the big piece of space rock slams into the moon, the moon dominoes it’s way to Earth. Not secure on the science behind all this, but it’ll make for some good explosions with some excellent consternation and hand wringing. In the age old traditions of hurtling space rock epics, look for fingers and faces pointed to the heavens while mini meteors make way too shallow reentry’s and  swiss cheese New York City, or maybe Berlin.
