A Trio of Trailers for Ben Stiller’s Alien Invason Suburban Comedy The Watch

For a while there, I wasn’t sure if “The Watch” (formerly “Neighborhood Watch”) was just a dumb comedy or a dumb alien comedy. Turns out, it’s a dumb alien comedy, though admittedly a suspiciously funny looking one. Check out a trio of trailers for the film, including a Red Band Trailer. I don’t think I’ve seen a raunchy alien sci-fi comedy before, so this is new.
Four everyday suburban guys come together as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week. But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighborhood — and the world — from total extermination.
The sci-fi comedy stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jonah Hill, Nicholas Braun, Richard Ayoade, Will Forte, Doug Jones, Billy Crudup, and is directed by Akiva Schaffer.
The end is near July 27, 2012.
