A Trace Amount Of Star Wars TV News

Sci-Fi TV News, Star Wars (2010) Series, Star Wars Universe — By endymi0n on July 15, 2009

George Lucas takes his time. I’d like to say that he takes the time to get it right but I’d be stretching it. George certainly has some mad world building skills. A live television series is on George’s mind these days. He is making preparations, slowly. Soon I’m sure the news will be juicy and plentiful. But for now, we Sci-Fi bloggers must dig and harrass for every lucious drop of news.

We have heard and reported that down under, writers were being hired and scripts perhaps were on the go. Now, perhaps we have a confirmation of this. Movieline sat down with Rose Byrne who played Dormé in Attack of the Clones. She seems to have some valuable intel.

Word is that he’s developing a live-action Star Wars TV series now.
Yes! A friend of mine is actually one of the writers on the show. It’s set in space. I think it’s like a family drama, as well, or something? I think he melted a few idea together for it.

Star Wars family drama huh? A family of Wookies maybe? Could be good, hard to say. More news as it happens folks.
