No sentí esta película como una precuela. Es algo nuevo, mucho más comercial. Temía que fuera un fracaso si la relación Kirk-Spock estaba mal caracterizada. No me gustó la música, si bien es muy buena. Creo que las fanfarrias de TNG hubieran estado mejor. Al salir del cine tenía una mezcla de sabores. I practically devoured my nails, I was that nervous. I kept telling everyone around me "if this movie sucks, there will be hell to pay!" It took me a couple of days to decide that I liked it. I loved everything except for the silly "leafy" green looking alien, aka. Scotty's assistant. Oh and I did nit pick (duriing the movie!!), but I have learned not to sweat the small stuff all the time. Nice article, well written.
