A Preview of Doctor Who Episode A Town Called Mercy

Two reasons to watch this week’s “Doctor Who” episode if you’re not inclined to be doing so already — it’s a sci-fi Western (with a cyborg gunfighter, no less) and it guest stars Ben Browder of “Farscape” fame as the Sheriff of this here town that the Doctor and company appear in. My guess is that town isn’t what it appears to be, but I could be wrong. Check out some images and clips from the upcoming ep.
The Doctor gets a Stetson (and a gun), and finds himself the reluctant Sheriff of a Western town under siege by a relentless cyborg who goes by the name of The Gunslinger. But who is he and what does he want?
Starring Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill. And, of course, Ben Browder.
