What’s scarier than invading aliens? Waking up in a strange woman’s apartment. A woman who you apparently had a one-night stand with, but don’t remember, though you wish you could cause she’s kinda hot. Then aliens invade. And two other dudes show up to totally cock block you. Next thing you know, you’re stuck in an apartment with all of them during the invasion. Add those things up, and it’s like a guy’s worst nightmare or something. Am I right, guys?
When Julio wakes up in a strange apartment after a night of partying, he’s pleasantly surprised to discover it belongs to a beautiful one-night-stand he can’t remember–Julia. What’s already an awkward situation is made even more so when they discover a giant flying saucer hovering above the city, which is now deserted. Now Julio must contend with a jealous ex-boyfriend, an eccentric neighbor–and very possibly the end of the world! A hilarious new comedy from director Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes), proudly presented by Focus World & Tugg.
The Spanish “Extraterrestrial” played the festival circuits for a while, and had its Stateside limited theatrical debut this weekend, but you probably don’t know that. Like I said, limited. Anyways, you can still catch it on VOD, though, so visit your favorite VOD retailer if you’re so inclined.
