SciFiWire recently were among the privileged few that were invited to the filming of Denzel Washington’s “Book of Eli”. “Book of Eli” is about a guy, played by Denzel, who is in possession of a book with something of informative value. A cookie recipe perhaps? Gotta love those Sci-Fi cookies.
While on set, the SciFiWire guys were witness to tons of post apocalyptic goings on. Among the sights were, strewn around body parts, road warrior worthy armoured vehicles and rocket propelled grenades apparently propelled at Mr. Washington and his crew. Surrounding these SciFi action set-pieces is the dusty remains of a once proud civilization, now awaiting the knowledge from Denzel’s book that will, perhaps, reverse societies decline into anarchy and madness.
And there we go. The “Book of Eli” will reveal all it’s secrets when it arrives in theatres in Jan of 2010.
